Excellent and moving account of how sanctions harm ordinary productive and promising people in the real world.
'It was an apparent manifestation of a maddening aspect of economic sanctions known as “over-compliance.” '
Americans see that chilling phenomenon of “over-compliance” in lots of every-day experiences like KYC, BSA reporting, tech censorship, age verification, etc.
I don’t usually comment on your articles, but I feel compelled to on this one.
Your opinion is naive and reminds me of Neville Chamberlain. I personally don’t want the leading state sponsor of terrorism and chanting “death to America,” to process nuclear weapons and long range missiles.

Unfortunately, you're giving credence to a false narrative. Iran wasn't developing a nuclear weapon and isn't the leading state sponsor of terrorism (see below). As for Iran's conventional missiles, it's been developing them for years and has only used them in self-defense. This is a war for Israel -- the latest in a series of interventions aimed at ensuring Israel's regional supremacy.
I do have some empathy for people who believe our government's lies, because I myself fell for the false WMD narrative that was used to justify the invasion of Iraq. It is frustrating, however, that so many of the same citizens who lived through that dark chapter are once again falling for bogus WMD/terror propaganda (merely swapping the "q" in Iraq for an "n"), and cheering on intervention that is not only amoral but also absolutely devastating to US interests.
On the side of the enemies of the satanic zioamerican empire? Nothing more or less than freedom, decency, and human rights, and opposition to pedophilia. The human race can never, and will never, surrender to zionism and its American puppets.
The trouble with comments like this: It's hard to discern whether it's meant to be a parody of the pathetically empty talking points of Mark Levin, Laura Loomer and other members of Israel's Fifth Column.

So, the company was "afraid" of U.S. sanctions if they shipped the medicine. Blaming the U.S. for that lack of resolve is absurd.

Have you ever considered that the US might be the leading state sponsor of terrorism?
You are arguing semantics.
Semantics? Really ?
Yes, really. Do you have an actual argument, or mere sarcasm?
Ridiculous. You are obviously a lefty.
You can slap any label you want on me. But can you dispute the facts ?
And what are your made up facts.

If you or others here in the comments want to delve deeper, I addressed the false pretenses behind the war here: https://www.starkrealities.net/p/join-us-military-kill-die-for-israel
And this article provides important perspective on "Death to America" chants (look for the subheading "Death to Israel and Death to Traffic"): https://www.starkrealities.net/p/irans-jewish-population-belies-claims
I would not take the chance with Iran having good intentions Nearly 100 million people died because Chamberlain misread Hitlers intentions.
I will say that I didn’t support how the war with Iran’s is being handled.
Such a well trained American— comparing everything to Hitler. Who has Iran attacked that makes you think they are like the Nazis ?
So very sad so much killing and dying for both sides and what for?

I agree, but it’s not equilateral
For another country's expansionist agenda:

How much is Iran paying you? Or is it Qatar?
