Excellent investigative work here. The pattern of deny-then-admit is particularly telling because it functiosn as a time-buying tactic that lets public attention move on before accountability arrives. I've seen similar dynamics in corporate crisis management where the initial denial phase serves to fragment media coverage and exhaust advocacy groups. The Pentagon insider being forced out for calling it accurate earlier really underscores how much institutional pressure existed to maintain the fiction.
Thank you for another example of genuine journalism. I believe it would be accurate to emphasize that none of the criminal conduct you describe would be happening absent the strong support for it from the Jewish community in the United States.
The reality is that a wealthy, powerful, well-organized group in our society is not only getting away with murdering civilians in a foreign nation but is also actively dismantling any means by which they might be held accountable for their crimes in the present or future here or elsewhere.
What happens to a society when organized crime takes over the government? That is exactly what we are beginning to find out.
If Kevin Warsh is confirmed as the next head of the Federal Reserve, his direct connection to Ron Lauder (his father in law) may well mean reduced regulatory scrutiny of certain carefully chosen organizations or individuals as well as illegal leaks of critical financial information to connected individuals or, indeed, a foreign government.
In other words, get ready for a higher level of corruption at the Fed.
Well said. And, as Americans WE PAY FOR IT! We provide the belligerent Israel everything they need to make war on the Palestinians and anyone else in the region who might stand up against being run over. It is truly sickening. No matter who you vote for you get Bibi Netanyahu.
Well Israel would, wouldn't it, because it knows this is a gross underestimate. The real figure would be closer to 1.4 million. The admission of "70,000" (which is bad enough) is an example of "a limited hangout".
"The mere fact that the Gaza Health Ministry is part of a Hamas government was all that Israel and its proxies and supporters needed to promote the assumption that the ministry’s death tally was a lie — and to buy time for Israel to continue its shattering of Gaza."
Sincere thanks for swinging by and presenting a living example of the phenomenon's durability.
The mere fact that Hamas was in charge of Gaza means it’s run by Islamists. Islamists controlled by Iran. Your dumb post didn’t age well. The IRGC is wrecked and your favorite terrorists groups aren’t getting any funds.
Everyone with a brain knows the history of Islam. It’s nothing but hatred of all things Christian, American and civilization.
I had it during covid when we warned people against taking the experimental poisonous vaccines and then they called us all kinds of names because the platform we were using weren't Verified by the Cult because it wasn't an “official” paper.
I always think of the picture of Bill Gates with that book in the background with the title “Lying with statistics”
Brian, Isn’t it true that what we’re seeing in Gaza looks a lot like the byproduct of modern, high-intensity urban war rather than something historically unique? Gaza is one of the densest places on earth, with fighters, civilians, homes, and underground infrastructure all layered on top of each other. There’s no real “rear area,” no clean separation between combat zones and civilian life. In that kind of environment, precision doesn’t automatically mean low civilian harm—accurate strikes can still kill large numbers of civilians simply because everyone is so tightly packed together.
Isn’t it also true that when you compare Gaza to other dense urban battles—like Mosul, Raqqa, or Aleppo—the civilian toll and destruction look tragically familiar? Those fights all involved enemies embedded in civilian neighborhoods, heavy airpower, massive displacement, and high civilian death rates. From that perspective, Gaza doesn’t really look like an outlier so much as another brutal example of what modern urban warfare tends to produce.
Language like "precision" and "accurate strikes" couldn't be less applicable to a discussion of how the IDF has conducted its war on Gaza.
Gaza is indeed densely populated, yet Israel has made enormously-destructive 2,000-pound bombs a centerpiece of its campaign. These US-supplied bombs have a 1,200-foot lethal radius. For that reason, Western militaries have used them sparingly, but not Israel, and these bombs have played a major role in the high number of deaths that were hitherto claimed to be fictional.
I highlight the 2,000-pound bombs because they figure heavily in the grim math, but the entire Israeli campaign in Gaza has been characterized by a depraved disregard for Palestinian lives, from shooting children in the head with "precision," to killing unarmed people at food distribution points, forcing bound Palestinians to serve as human shields in clearing buildings, dropping grenades on unarmed civilians wandering into unmarked forbidden zones, attacking ambulances and hospitals, blocking humanitarian aid, and on and on. This is not "business as usual" for urban warfare.
I wouldn't take such intense interest were it not for the fact that Israel's horror show is made possible by the redistribution of American wealth, in a relationship that severely undercuts US interests, and imposes a staggering, multifaceted cost on the United States and its citizens:
Confirming these numbers is not a surprise. The important question is what gets done with these confirmed numbers. What real-world change gets made knowing this is fact, reality?
A timely and essential reminder, unfortunately describing just the tip of an iceberg. The people of the world will remember for a very long time..

Other estimates say it's much higher.

Of course they admit to this because they know that the real number five times higher
More Limited hangout Crap. Where are the 2,100,000 million people now? Getting firebombed and flooded in tents?
You’re such s cuck for Hamas. No one with a brain would validate anything from the Gaza ministry of Health.
How much did the UN pay you for this trash?
