Simplest answer I come up with is that they are irredeemably corrupted, either by accepting AIPAC’s bribes of by some form of blackmail or threats of reputational harm. That seems to be the Israeli way.
On the positive side, voices like Brian’s are finally getting a hearing and the results, as reflected in the polls, are very encouraging.

Many well-informed people think that 9/11 was a false flag operation with little or, more likely, no actual involvement of Muslims. But other than that arguable point, you have done a fine job of summarizing the case for a profound reevaluation of the U.S. relationship with Israel.

A good article but why would Israel inform Panama of a US attack? I know Isreal has damaged US policies before but is the reason known?
